SSD Not Showing during Windows Installation

If SSd not shown during Windows Installation here are some steps to resolve the issue.
   In some laptops we need to install drivers for Intel Rapid Storage Technology this is also Called iRST or RST. When we try to install Windows 11, when before time of format and windows installation begins, The space shows where we do create partitions that time if the the RST driver is not intalled the SSD Space won’t display 500 GB Space or based on laptop space, it shows like left side image shown completely blank. To make it active you need to Download RST driver first. Download the software from here click here to Download.

How to make extraction folder from .EXE file
- Â Open Command prompt Right Click Open as Administrator
- Â After Downloaded file, In Command Prompt go to Downlaods Folder by typing c:\ Cd Users\Username\Downloads –> Enter
- you will be prompted c:\Users\Rahul\Downloads\Â –> My Username is Rahul.
- Â Now to create Folder for Extraction from .exe file to Folder, We will keep Folder name as RST. We will extract all files from .exe to RST Folder.
- The Command is c:\users\Rahul\Downloads> SetupRST -extractdrivers RST –> Below Image Reference -1.
- Copy this folder to Windows bootable pendrive, When it prompts during windows installation asking for the RST Folder.

- Click On Load Driver
- Click On Browse
- Select Pendrive –> Inside Pendrive Select RST Folder –> In RST Folder Select production Folder –> Windows 10 or Windows 11 based on You are installing windows Version –> 15063 Folder –> inside Driver Folder –> Inside Drivers Folder –> VMD this is the final folder.Â
- Click on OK
- Select Pendrive.
- Inside Pendrive Select RST Folder.
- In RST Folder Select production Folder
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 based on You are installing windows Version
- 15063 Folder
- Inside Driver Folder
- Inside Drivers Folder
- VMD this is the final folder.
- Click on OK
- Click On Next to Install The Driver for IRST.
- INstalling the IRST Driver for SSD.
- The Driver is Installed Successfully and Now you can see the Drives.
